Fraud warning: how we really contact you
Fraudsters regularly pose as recruitment agencies or job boards – with fake job offers designed to obtain money or personal data. Here is how to recognise genuine messages from NileCon Recruitment and our platform iince.
Why this page matters
Recruitment agencies and job boards are a popular target for fraudsters. They send messages in the name of real companies and promise quick, well-paid jobs. Anyone who responds is asked to pay fees, send documents or forward money. The following tips help you recognise such messages.
How we contact you
- Only from official addresses. Emails from iince only come from addresses on the iince.com domain , emails from NileCon from addresses on the domain iince.com .
- Contact through iince. Until we introduce you to an employer, all contact goes through iince.
- No fees, no advance payments. iince is free for job seekers. In Germany, placement agencies may not demand or accept advance payments on their fee from job seekers in any case (Section 296 (2) of the German Social Code, Book III).
- No sensitive data before a real job offer. Neither NileCon nor iince asks for bank details or ID documents before a real job offer. We never ask for passwords or login details.
- No “jobs” involving money transfers. We do not place people in activities where you are asked to forward money through your account, reship goods or buy equipment in advance.
How to verify us
- Compare the sender and contact details with the information in our legal notice.
- Check our entry in the commercial register: NileCon Recruitment UG (haftungsbeschränkt) , Amtsgericht Braunschweig (Braunschweig Local Court), HRB 213074 . You can view it free of charge at handelsregister.de.
- Pay attention to the exact spelling of the domain. Fraudsters often use addresses that look similar, for example with swapped or extra letters.
- If in doubt, contact us using the details in our legal notice – not via phone numbers or links in the suspicious message.
You will also find detailed advice on the iince safety page: How iince keeps you safe.
If something seems suspicious
- Do not pay anything, do not click any links and do not open any attachments.
- Do not hand over personal documents, bank details or login details.
- Let us know via our contact form or by email to contact@iince.com . We will check the message.
- If you have already suffered a loss, report it to the police – many German federal states also offer an online police station (Onlinewache). The consumer advice centres (Verbraucherzentralen) also offer advice.
Risk of confusion
There are several companies and organisations with “Nile” in their name, and brands that sound similar to iince, that have nothing to do with us. NileCon Recruitment UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is based in Wolfsburg , Germany. Other organisations with similar names are not connected with us.
